About Wasl

Millions of people in Egypt earn steady income as gig workers, delivery riders, and blue-collar employees — but formal lenders weren't built to see them. Without payslips or credit-bureau history, they get turned away or funneled into a scattered, confusing lending landscape with no easy way to know who will actually compete for their business.

Wasl exists to close that gap. We help borrowers build a verified financial passport once — ID, income, gig earnings, gam'eya history — and carry it to every lender instead of re-applying from scratch each time. Then, instead of a single application into a black box, borrowers post what they need and lenders compete with real offers. Full data is only ever released to the lender the borrower actually selects.

Our goal is simple: give Egypt's underserved borrowers a portable, verified financial identity, and a fair, transparent way to be matched with the lenders who actually want their business.
